I’m thrilled to share some exciting news—I am officially stepping to a new role as a DJF
Nutrition tutor! As someone who’s benefited so much from Dana’s mentorship,
guidance, and resources throughout my career journey, I couldn’t be more excited to
take on this role and help others reach their goal of becoming a registered dietitian. Listen to my interview with Dana on episode 188 of Dietetics with Dana!
About Me
I started my career in the entertainment industry after earning a degree in
communication, but I quickly realized it wasn’t the right path for me. During college, I
had my own health journey that sparked a passion for nutrition—one that only grew
stronger over the years. When I decided to change careers, I spent a year and a half
completing my prerequisite coursework at my local community college before attending
Boston University’s DPD/MS/DI program.
During my first semester at BU, I came across an Instagram post about Dana’s
internship program and applied—never imagining I’d be stepping into this role three
years later! Since joining DJF Nutrition, I’ve collaborated with Dana to refine the brand’s
visual aesthetic, revamp the website, and design engaging social media content.
Throughout my program, I gained experience as a diet tech at Spaulding Rehab
Hospital, worked with an oncology app start-up, served as a teaching assistant for MNT
1, and completed my dietetic internship at five sites across the greater Boston area.
Today, I split my time between two roles: I work full-time at the Boston University
Sargent Choice Nutrition Center, where I see students for nutrition counseling, teach
cooking classes and demos, and collaborate with BU Dining to improve ingredient
transparency in the dining halls. I also work at DJF Nutrition with Dana, helping future
RDs (like you!) access high-quality RD exam tutoring so they can achieve their goals
and pass the RD exam!
Why Tutoring Matters to Me
As an RD, I know firsthand how tough the journey to becoming a dietitian can
be—especially when it comes to the RD exam. It’s intimidating, stressful, and can shake
your confidence. I was in your shoes not long ago, and I’m here to help you approach
this final step with patience, empathy, and the support you need to build confidence,
pass the exam, and achieve the goal you’ve worked so hard for over many years.
As I step into this role, I’m excited to help students and interns feel empowered and
prepared for their next steps. Whether it’s passing the RD exam or developing the skills
they’ll need in practice, I’m here to help them succeed.
A big thank you to Dana for trusting me to join her amazing business, and to all the
students I’ll have the privilege of working with. I can’t wait to get started and be a part of
your journey – no matter how big or small!
